SPLC, NSPA urge appeals court to overturn high school censorship case

The Student Press Law Center and two national journalism organizations, including the National Scholastic Press Association, filed a friend-of-the-court brief today urging a federal appeals court to overturn a ruling that upheld the censorship of a cartoon that was critical of a New York high school’s teaching methods for sex education.
